Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, also known as KCR, will be inaugurating the new Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) office in Delhi on Thursday. The four-story building, built according to Vastu, is located in the Vasant Vihar area of the national capital. The BRS, formerly known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi, was renamed last year to expand the party’s role in central politics. The party hopes that the opening of the new office will accelerate its nationwide expansion.

The BRS Bhavan has a conference hall on the first floor and an office for the BRS President, among other facilities. The party mentioned that Telangana Building Construction Minister Prashant Reddy and Rajya Sabha MP Joginapalli Santosh Kumar are overseeing the work related to the completion of the building’s construction in Delhi. The building is constructed on eleven thousand square feet of land.

Previously, the BRS was operating in Delhi from an office located on Sardar Patel Marg. In December last year, several leaders from regional parties, as well as farmer leaders from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, and Tamil Nadu, attended the inaugural ceremony of the party’s new office. Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, Janata Dal (Secular) leader H D Kumaraswamy, and Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) leader and MP T Thirumavalavan from Tamil Nadu were among those who attended the ceremony.

In April this year, BRS celebrated its 22nd formation day with party president KCR hoisting the BRS flag at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad. He was accompanied by BR’s general secretary K Keshava Rao and other senior leaders, and the meeting was attended by 300 BRS leaders, including ministers, MPs, MLAs, and MLCs.
