But there’s more in store not just with Pathaan, but SRK’s upcoming releases. This year, 2023, will see two more releases. His immediate release will be director Atlee’s Jawan, which is slated for a grand release in June, which will be followed by Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki in December.
This comes afterward Jagran Manch members protested contrary to the movie at INOX theatres in Indore. They raised mottos and submitted a memorandum to the theatre organization demanding that the movie should not be free in theatres.
Pathaan’s song Besharam Rang has also been at the center of a hornet’s nest afterward the Child Welfare Commission (CWC) in Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich commended the state DGP to get fasteners of the song detached from social media platforms. The CWC quantified in its letter the tune and its videos may have an “adverse impression on the psyche of youths.”
The argument about Pathaan and its party number Besharam Rang happened when Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra thought that the costumes and scenes of the song are offensive. Dr. Mishra said, “The getups in the song at first glance are objectionable. It is observable that the song of the film ‘Pathaan’ has been round by a dirty mindset.”
The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer detective thriller is all set for an announcement on the silver awning on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil, then Telugu.
