The reports state that the Office of Prime Minister is going to hold a high -level meeting to take into account the situation of Uttarakhand’s Joshimath. Regarding the incidents that are taking place in Joshimath, Uttarakhand . The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured that all possible help will be given to save Joshimath. This was said by Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami . The Prime Minister took into account the current situation of Joshimath .

Uttarakhand chief minister said ” The situation in Joshimath is being analyzed. We will also see if other mountainous towns have achieved their toleration limit ” .

Details.

The conditions of Joshimath are concerning . The occurrence of cracks on the houses and roads are not a new thing but the fact that town is on relatively loose soil , makes things difficult. The central government authorities are assisting Uttarakhand to prepare all types of plan to tackle the situation of Joshimath. The officials stated that Prime Minister’s office held a review meeting on this case.

The Prime Minister has assured that Joshimath will be given all type of aids and support in this time.

Situation of joshimath

The residents of Joshimath , Uttarakhand have noticed severe cracks occurring on their houses and on the roads. over 600 houses have seen cracks . It has been declared landslide subsidence zone . Due to these severe conditions , there has been a great risk of disasters. The risk is so high that over 60 families have been told to evacuate their homes. The officials have also reported that the cracks have been reported in the road leading to the army base . The LAC is just 100 km away from the town. therefore joshimath is a really important place for the army .
