Hyderabad, Telangana – The International Human Rights Organization (IHRO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mohd Afzal, a resident of Nalgonda, as the new State President of Telangana.

Mr. Afzal’s appointment is a significant milestone for the IHRO, as it reinforces the organization’s commitment to protecting and promoting human rights in the state. Under his leadership, the IHRO aims to raise awareness about human rights issues, advocate for the rights of marginalized communities, and collaborate with government agencies to ensure the implementation of human rights laws and policies.

A 45-member state panel has been formed to support Mr. Afzal in his new role. The panel will be guided by Retd. Chief Justice of the High Court and SHRC Chairman, Dr. Chandraiah, IHRO World Chairman, Dr. Nem Singh Premi, and South Chairman, Mr. Syed Kazim Ali Hashmi. The panel will work tirelessly to promote human rights awareness, provide support to victims of human rights abuses, and engage with stakeholders to advocate for policy changes.

“I am honored to take on this new role and pledge to work towards the protection of human rights, raising awareness, and advocating for rights across the legislature, executive, and judiciary sectors,” said Mr. Afzal. “I look forward to working with the state panel and stakeholders to make a positive impact in the lives of people in Telangana.”

The IHRO is a non-governmental organization that works to promote and protect human rights globally. With its presence in Telangana, the organization aims to make a significant difference in the lives of people in the state.
