Strong cold weather conditions are going to be shown in the North India from the next week from January 23 and it would affect the adjoining planes by January 24. The weather department stated this. They further stated that these conditions will continue till january 25 .
The next week is expected to have heavy rainfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand . Due to this effect , Delhi is also likely to get affected with light rain and cloudy skies between 24 and 26 January . The Meterological Department has predicted the dip in temperature but eventually towards the end of the week the temperature may seem to rise a little.

IMD scientist Soma Sen stated,” Due to a western disturbance , heavy rainfall is likely in Jammu and Kashmir , Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on 24 and 25 January light rain and cloudy weather is likely on Delhi from January 24 to 26 . There is going to be a dip in temperature and would continue for the next 5 days. Towards the end of the next week , minimum temperature will rise and maximum temperature will fall.
Also earlier , many fights departing from Delhi were delayed due to fog . This was stated by the airport authorities. The weather department has predicted that skies are mainly going to be clear for the rest of the days . The maximum temperature is also going to be around 22 degrees Celsius.
While there are expectations about light rainfall in the national capital, the hill stations may come across with heavy snowfalls in the upcoming 5 days.
The isolated hailstorms in the Himalayan territories of Himachal Pradesh on Monday and Tuesday may affect these areas. Therefore, chances are that the hail may also take place in the adjoining areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh on Tuesday.
