Harsha, an impact entrepreneur accelerating sustainable development in India.

Harsha is Managing Director of IICSR Group and has been a serial impact entrepreneur. She along with the empanelled experts have successfully conceptualized and implemented CSR, Sustainability and ESG strategies for various private and public sector companies and Non-Governmental Organisation (NGOs) worldwide.

Harsha has developed an education eco-system for developing Responsible Business Leadership by International Institute of CSR and Sustainability knowledge management (IICSR Group) which has done capacity building for 10,000+ Corporate executives from mid to senior management level till date. Under her aegis IICSR Group has been accredited by MEPSC (A sector skills council under Ministry of Skills development and entrepreneurship) and

American Council of Training and Development (ACTD). The institute has an eco-friendly campus at North Goa surrounded by Arambol jungles on one side and Arabian sea on the other side. She conceptualized the entire set-up keeping sustainable development as the only future for tomorrow. The students trained here are specialized on

Ethics, Governance, CSR, Sustainability and ESG concepts by the International best experts visiting the campus.

Educationally she holds a degree in Engineering and Management and has International work experience including in the United States and in the Middle East as an entrepreneur too.

Harsha and her team has consulted on various CSR projects to Corporates and NGOs such as ESSAR Foundation, ALERT India Foundation – dedicated to leprosy affected patients, Omkar Builders – Corporate House, People mobilization – L&T, Uday Skills – skills training social venture, Sanjay Ghodawat Group in Kolhapur, Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL), Empower People in Haryana working on human trafficking issue, Each One Teach One in Mumbai, Shekinah Foundation, Network for Physically Disabled Organization (NPDO) (both working in differently-abled), Naandi Foundation, Self-defense training for women with 3 Pillar Global (US Based), CMA CGM Shipping corporation (France), SembCorp India (Singapore), Indian Oil corporation limited (IOCL), Aarti Industries and more.

She has been awarded National Social Entrepreneur Fellow (NSEF–2011) and selected as one of the “Top 10 Indian Women Entrepreneurs” by DELL Women Entrepreneur Network (DWEN–2012). She has been awarded “CSR

Visionary of (2012)” by Lakshya Bharti Foundation (LBF), “CSR Women Leader(2012)” by Institute of Public

Enterprises (IPE), GIANTS International Award (2013) for committed work in noble services, “Women Excellence in CSR (2014)” by Lala Management Institute – Mumbai, “CSR Author of the Year(2015)” by IndiaCSR, “Top 50 rising

star in India(2016)” by Barclays London and We are the city media house, “Super Woman Achiever(2017)” by Femina

– India and “Top 40 under 40 Alternate investment Professional(2018)” in India by Association of International Wealth Management of India (AIWMI) and Indian Association of Alternate Investment Funds (IAAIF).

Harsha has authored a book on “Sustainable CSR (CSR Basics)” in 2016, Extractive Industries and Sustainable development in 2017, Importance of Non Financial Reporting in 2019, Global CSR Laws in 2020, and a poetry book – Messages. She has published her NFT poems on Open sea as Universal messages – https://opensea.io/collection/universalmessages. She also hosts shows – Live Interactions with Global Changemakers and Youth Questions by Digital Parliament wherein she questions on the initiatives taken by the Corporate Honchos and Elected Political leaders on sustainable development. She has interviewed more than 70% of Indian parliamentarians and international guests on SDGs and ESG.
