The Indian Army has stated that the situation in Moreh and Kangpokpi, Manipur, has been brought under control, and efforts are underway to restore normalcy in Imphal and Churachandpur.

The Manipur government has issued a shoot-at-sight order for extreme cases. The Indian Air Force is set to undertake flying operations to induct additional Indian Army columns from Guwahati and Tezpur to aid in restoring peace.
