The gruesome shocking case of an accident where a woman’s body was dragged under a car has came into the notice. The incident took place on 1st of the January . The new year has been encountered with this unexpected and shameful incident .
What Happened: the 23 year old girl was as usual returning back to her home from her work when a Maruti Baleno car allegedly hit her scooty and dragged it to several kilometers which led to her death.
The naked body if the woman was found in Delhi’s Kanjhawala in such a bad condition that even the police officials were shocked after seeing such a gut wrenching condition of the victims body. The police officials claimed that the condition of the girl was so bad because it was dragged to approximately 20 kilometers after being collided with the car . It is alleged that the passengers in the car have been identified as Deepak Khanna (26), Amit Khanna (25), Krishan (27) , Mithun (26) , Manoj Mittal (27). After dragging the body to several kilometers , when they get to know about the body that has been hanging at the car, they remove the body from the vehicle in panic and fled away .The police is yet to confirm that whether it was the case of an accident or a rape case since the body was found naked.
The victims family has been devastated and the officials are actively trying to go more into the depths of the case.
Police further stated that an autopsy has been conducted under the supervision of a medical board at Maulana Azad Medical College. (MAMC)
Charged have been issued against the five accused and have been arrested.
Delhi has a record of having a list of gruesome crimes against women which have only increased over time.
