UPSC Toppers Reveal Keys To Exam Success: Sincerity And Discipline

In the recently declared results of the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) examination held in 2022, it was revealed that the top four positions were secured by girls, with only one boy among the top five rank-holders. A total of 933 candidates have been recommended for various services by the UPSC.

The topper of the civil services examination 2022 is Ishita Kishor, who emphasized the importance of discipline and sincerity in achieving such a feat. Garima Lohia, who secured the second position without any coaching, overcame personal challenges and focused on self-study during the Covid-19 lockdown. She advised UPSC aspirants to develop personalized preparation strategies and study in environments where they feel most comfortable.

N Uma Harathi, who secured the third rank in the examination, credited her success to her father, who is a police superintendent in Telangana. Harathi, a B.Tech graduate from IIT Hyderabad, cleared the exam on her fifth attempt. Mayur Hazarika, the only boy in the top five, expressed his excitement and ambition to join the Indian Foreign Service as his first preference.

Waseem Ahmad Bhat from Jammu and Kashmir secured the seventh rank, improving upon his previous year’s performance. His father expressed joy and gratitude, considering it inspiring news for Anantnag and Kashmir.
