Early life and education
Saurabh Bansal completed his B.Tech degree and graduated in 2006. Despite having no prior experience in electronics and mobile communication, he ventured into the field at the age of 24.
Career
Following his graduation (B.Tech, Computer Science in 2006), Saurabh Bansal embarked on his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 24. Although he lacked experience in electronics and mobile communication, his determination and passion fuelled his success. Saurabh Bansal’s entrepreneurial journey began with the establishment of his business, M/S. Electrowaves. Prior to his venture, his father had been running a thriving business in pesticides and fertilizers since 1977. Inspired by his father’s entrepreneurial spirit, Saurabh Bansal decided to explore the world of electronics and mobile communication.
In 2007, Saurabh Bansal became an authorized dealer & best shop for LG products, marking the beginning of a fruitful partnership with the renowned electronics brand i.e. LG ELECTRONICS INDIA PVT LTD. He also took on the role of district distributor for several prominent mobile phone brands, including Karbonn, Sony, BlackBerry, Micromax, LG, and Motorola. Saurabh Bansal’s dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction led to the exponential growth of his business.
Presently, Saurabh Bansal owns and operates two showrooms of LG Best shop, which are recognized as oldest authorized LG dealerships in Patiala. Since 2017, he has expanded his business operations to include the distribution of Xiaomi mobiles and other products. His commitment to excellence and customer-centric approach has enabled him to serve over 50,000+ satisfied customers.
Saurabh Bansal’s outstanding sales performance and innovative sales practices earned him recognition from LG India, which awarded him for his exceptional contributions to sales across the country. In 2023, he received the prestigious Patiala District Entrepreneur and Social Worker Award on Republic Day, acknowledging his remarkable achievements and Humanitarian endeavours.
In 2013, Saurabh Bansal graced the cover of LG Sansar Magazine, further solidifying his reputation as a successful entrepreneur in the electronics industry. His dedication and commitment to excellence have made him a role model for aspiring entrepreneurs. Apart from his business ventures, Bansal actively participates in Humanitarian initiatives. He received the Bajaj Finance Platinum Dealer Trophy and represented Patiala at the Bajaj Finance Annual Meeting “Samvaad” held in Mumbai in 2022. Additionally, he consistently sponsors various events, including grand tambola, fashion shows, and social cause events such as water sewa.
During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Saurabh Bansal demonstrated his compassion and generosity by donating 12 LG products to the COVID-19 ward at the Government Hospital in Patiala, specifically Rajindra Hospital. He also contributed 5,000 face shields, 5,000 masks, and sanitizers to frontline workers, prioritizing their safety and well-being. It was an honour for him when Padam Shri Respected Vijay Chopra ji (Owner of Jagbani Group) visited to their stores for launch of New LG Product and there also Bansal Family never looked back and contributed towards the shaheed family fund.
Furthermore, Saurabh Bansal actively contributes to the development of the electronics industry in Patiala. He is serving as the Honorary Secretary of the Patiala Electronics Dealers Association (Regd.) since 2017. In this role, Saurabh Bansal has been instrumental in fostering collaboration among electronics dealers, advocating for their interests, and implementing initiatives for the industry’s growth.
Personal life
Saurabh Bansal is happily married and has one child, who is currently 12 years old. He balances his professional responsibilities with his family life and believes in the importance of maintaining a harmonious work-life balance.

• Awarded with most prestigious Award “ NATIONAL ICONIC ENTERPRENEUR – 2023” in New Delhi by Honourable Sh. Jagdambika Pal ji (Member of Parliament) in presence of Honourable Prime Minister of India – Sh. Narendra Modi Ji & Honourable Home Minister of India – Sh. Amit Shah ji.
