In a surprising move, Russia has successfully attacked the power grid of Ukraine, allowing them to gain more ground in the eastern region of the country. The attack, which occurred on December 23rd, left nearly 700,000 people without power in the region. It is believed that the attack was initiated by Russia in order to further its control of the region, as it is already in control of two provinces in the east, Donetsk and Luhansk.

The attack has been condemned by the Ukrainian government, who has called it a “terrorist act” and an “act of aggression.” The Ukrainian president, Petro Poroshenko, has said that the attack was an “act of war” and that it “will not go unanswered.” He has also said that the attack was an attempt to “sabotage Ukraine’s efforts to restore peace and stability in the region.”

The Russian government, however, has denied any involvement in the attack and has accused Ukraine of staging the attack in order to “further its own interests” in the region. This has been backed up by the Russian state-owned media, which has been claiming that the attack was a hoax or a false flag operation.

The Ukrainian government has responded to the attack by calling for a meeting of the United Nations Security Council and has also requested assistance from the European Union in order to restore power to the affected areas. In addition, Ukraine has also requested that Russia stops supplying weapons and ammunition to the separatist forces in the region.

The attack on the power grid has been widely viewed as a major blow to the Ukrainian government, which has been struggling to maintain control of the region. It is believed that the attack was intended to weaken the Ukrainian government and strengthen the separatist forces in the region. With the power grid being attacked, it is likely that the region will become even more unstable and volatile in the coming weeks and months.

The attack on the power grid has also been seen as a major blow to the security and stability of the region. It is likely that the attack will have far reaching implications, as it could serve to further exacerbate the tensions between Russia and Ukraine and could lead to a further deterioration of the situation in the region. It is also likely that the attack will be seen as a sign of Russian aggression and could lead to further sanctions against Russia from the international community.

The attack on the power grid of Ukraine is a major blow to the country and could have far reaching implications. It is likely to lead to increased tensions between Russia and Ukraine, as well as further instability in the region. It is also likely that the international community will take action against Russia as a result of the attack.
