RRR Wins Golden Globes Awards.

Gone are the times where India could not beat the Hollywood . On this day , 11 January 2023, India became successful in going in the history . The movie RRR won big at the golden globes in 2023! the song of the movie, Naatu-Naatu bagged the trophy as the best original song in the category.

Proud Moment for South Indian Cinemas.

India was not only considered to put on the golden globes awards where movies of various countries compete for the awards. The song Naatu-Naatu of the movie RRR beat the Hollywood stars like Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Rihanna. The movie was nominated for best original song and the best non- English picture at the Golden Globes 2023.

RRR secured the win in the Original Song Category . Keep in mind , many well known artists were competing with the same. RRR’s win at the awards is a quite prestigious award. The Golden Globes is second to the most superior awards ceremony, The Oscars. That is why , it is a great deal. This also increases the chances that the film might get major entrance in other categories like best film and the best director.

The win of this South Indian movie increases the spotlight of the South Indian movie industry. Some of the top hits of the South are KGF, Kantara, Pushpa and RRR. The South Film industry is investing around Rs. 10,000 crore in their films in the coming five years.

Awards.

Despite it winning in the song categories, RRR lost to an Argentinian film in the Non-English category. The atmosphere of the crowd was a thing to notice when Naatu-Naatu song was banging on the speakers. MM Keeravani went ahead to collect the trophy . This indicates that the recognition which Indian television deserves, is getting it. The blast that the movie is going to make at the coming Oscars will be incredible. That scene will be worth watching on March 12 at the upcoming Oscars.
