The government of Japan is offering 1 million yen per child to family who decides to move out of the Tokyo .The reason being that the country has been facing a decline in the population in other areas. The money will be paid to the family who moves out of Tokyo, the families will also be given the fee if they move to mountainous areas which are within the limits of the city.

The amount of fee being $7500 will be given to those residents which is an increased amount as compared to the earlier amount of $2,260.

The main reason for the Japanese government to offer such amount is that the country has been facing large decline in the population of people in the other cities of Japan .

Therefore, this incentive is given so that people get motivate to move out to other cities so that there is a balance in the population rate. The decline in the population is due to the COVID 19 pandemic . People had moved to the cities in hope for better lifestyle and better job opportunities.

An amount of 3 million yen is already available as financial support . This amount is mainly for the people living in 23 wards of Tokyo , some other parts of the area and the neighbouring areas of Saitama, Chiba and Kanagawa.

The application for availing this subsidy must be made between the 3 months and 1 year of moving into the municipality. The applicants must also show that they are interested to live in the area to which they move out for at least 5 years.
