Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Gujarat on Friday to launch development projects worth almost Rs 4,400 crore and allot houses built under the central government’s housing scheme to 19,000 beneficiaries. According to a statement, he will attend the ‘Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sangh Adhiveshan’ in Gandhinagar and also visit GIFT City.
At the Gandhinagar event, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth over Rs 2,450 crore, which includes projects of the Urban Development Department, Water Supply Department, Road and Transport Department, and Mines and Minerals Department. He will also hand over keys to beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (rural and urban) scheme.
During his visit to Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), he will review the progress of various ongoing projects and interact with GIFT IFSC to understand their plans. The ‘Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sangh Adhiveshan’ is the 29th biennial conference of the All India Primary Teachers’ Federation, with the theme of ‘Teachers are at the Heart of Transforming Education’.
The ‘Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sangh Adhiveshan’ in Gandhinagar is also on the Prime Minister’s itinerary for the day. During this conference, which is the 29th biennial conference of the All India Primary Teachers’ Federation, the theme of ‘Teachers are at the Heart of Transforming Education’ will be discussed.
