In a tragic incident on the Ludhiana-Chandigarh highway, a Suzuki car collided with a divider due to over-speeding, resulting in serious injuries to the driver. The accident occurred at approximately 11:30 AM on 4rd July 2024 when Anmol Masih, a resident of Firozpur, Punjab, was reportedly driving the vehicle at a speed of 170 km/h.

Eyewitnesses described a chaotic scene as the Suzuki car lost control and veered into the divider with considerable force, causing extensive damage to the vehicle. Local authorities and emergency services rushed to the scene promptly upon receiving distress calls from passersby. Anmol Masih, who was behind the wheel at the time of the accident, sustained severe injuries and was immediately transported to the nearest hospital for medical treatment.

Sources from the hospital have confirmed that Anmol Masih is currently receiving medical attention, and his condition is being closely monitored by healthcare professionals.

As of now, officials have refrained from issuing an official statement regarding the incident, emphasizing ongoing investigations to ascertain the precise sequence of events leading to the crash. There are unconfirmed reports suggesting Anmol Masih may have been experiencing mental health challenges, though the specifics behind this claim remain unclear and are subject to further scrutiny.

“The impact of the collision was quite intense. The car was traveling at an exceptionally high speed, and it seemed like the driver lost control suddenly,” remarked one eyewitness, who chose to remain anonymous.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident to ascertain the exact cause of the accident. Preliminary reports suggest that over-speeding might have been a contributing factor. Traffic on the Ludhiana-Chandigarh highway was temporarily disrupted as officials worked to clear the debris and ensure the safety of other commuters.

“Speeding remains a significant concern on our highways, and incidents like these underscore the importance of adhering to traffic regulations,” commented a local police officer involved in managing the aftermath of the accident.

As the investigation continues, local authorities urge motorists to exercise caution and adhere to speed limits to prevent such unfortunate incidents in the future. The community remains hopeful for Anmol Masih’s swift recovery as he receives treatment for his injuries.
