Visakhapatnam: Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, commended the RBI’s decision to eliminate Rs 2000 notes, deeming it a proactive measure against corruption. Having previously advocated for digital currency, Naidu firmly believes that discontinuing Rs 2000 notes will effectively curb politicians’ distribution of money to secure votes during elections.

Speaking at a gathering in Anakapalle as part of his ‘Idemi Kharma Mana Rashtraniki’ program, Naidu expressed deep concern over the soaring prices of commodities, gas fuel, and other essential items. He strongly criticized the imposition of false cases on individuals who raise their voices against these price hikes.

Naidu expressed great satisfaction with the overwhelming turnout at his road shows and wholeheartedly acknowledged the right of opposition party leaders to organize similar events. Outlining his visionary plans for transforming Visakhapatnam into an IT hub, tourism center, and financial capital, he stressed the need to prioritize the people’s welfare over mere assets.

Furthermore, Naidu fiercely criticized the incumbent Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, for persistently attempting to sell lands in Amaravati and Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam. He passionately highlighted the alarming increase in atrocities committed under Jagan’s administration, expressing deep concern for the affected citizens.

Naidu made an unwavering commitment to generate ample employment opportunities for the youth, resolutely questioning Jagan’s credibility as a Chief Minister if he fails to deliver on this essential promise.

In conclusion, Nara Chandrababu Naidu lauded the discontinuation of Rs 2000 notes as a monumental step in combatting corruption. He vehemently expressed concern over relentless price hikes and resolutely condemned the fabrication of charges against those bravely speaking out against such issues. Naidu showcased his vision for the prosperous development of Visakhapatnam and criticized Jagan’s handling of crucial cities. With unwavering determination, he pledged to prioritize the creation of employment opportunities for the youth, challengingly questioning Jagan’s ability to fulfill his paramount responsibilities as the Chief Minister.
