It is a great honor to International Human Rights organization ( IHRO) to Support the Noble cause of Border Security Forces to ” Save Wular Lake “. International human rights organisation which is in Co-operation with UN and also International Bar Council heartily Support any Initiative of BSF . Wular Half Marathon Run is the First baby step . We are also planning to bring experts from Our International team too.

The Mission of ” Save Wular lake ” is very tough and very much Important because Asia’s one of the largest freshwater lakes, Wular is fast losing its grandeur to extensive pollution, siltation and encroachments coupled with lack of sustained scientific conservation measures.

Nestled between mountains in north Kashmir, Wular acts as a huge absorption basin for the annual floodwaters– maintaining a balance in the hydrographic system of Kashmir.

It is very much important to note that In recognition of its immense ecological and socio-economic importance, Wular was designated as a wetland of international importance under the Ramsar Convention in 1990.

Today is United Nation Day and pledge that “
Our Mission has started and We all will save Wular. “
