The G20 Tourism Working Group will hold its third meeting during this time to finalize the ministerial communique for the upcoming ministerial meeting in Goa later this year.

The formal inauguration of the G20 meeting will take place on Tuesday, attended by Union Tourism Minister G Kishen Reddy, Singh, and Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

Singh highlights the significance of holding the G20 meeting in Srinagar, symbolizing the region’s transition from a hotbed of terrorism to a city on par with others in India. He attributes this positive change to Prime Minister Modi’s unwavering commitment and conviction. Additionally, Singh commends the prime minister’s dedicated efforts and special ministerial visits to Jammu and Kashmir, which have propelled the region’s development initiatives.

The people of Srinagar aspire for progress and have grown weary of sacrificing for terrorism. Singh applauds the highly aspirational and well-informed youth in Kashmir, who eagerly seize opportunities provided by the prime minister’s initiatives.

Regarding China’s decision to skip the G20 meeting in Srinagar, Singh suggests deferring to the Ministry of External Affairs for further comments.

In conclusion, the G20 meeting in Srinagar showcases the transformed landscape of Jammu and Kashmir, allowing India to exhibit the positive changes. Delegates have the opportunity to witness the transformation firsthand and form their own conclusions. Moreover, the people of Srinagar eagerly await the meeting, while the G20 delegates act as true ambassadors for Kashmir and India, aligning with Prime Minister Modi’s vision.
