Aditya Roy Kapur, known for his performance in The Night Manager’s Hindi adaptation, is gearing up to play a double role in Gumraah, a film he signed almost three years ago. He talked about his 14-year career in the Hindi film industry and the challenges of working in Bollywood.
According to Aditya, Bollywood is a tricky industry to navigate, and as an actor, it’s essential to have a strong gut feeling to make the right decisions. While he listens to people’s opinions, he ultimately relies on his instincts. Aditya believes that taking complete responsibility for one’s successes and failures is crucial and that constant input from others can dilute an actor’s feelings about a project. Therefore, he believes it’s essential to trust one’s instincts, even if it leads to failure.
Aditya also shared that he enjoys being on set and wants to do more work, rather than taking long breaks. He chose to do Gumraah because he gets to play a double role, something he has never done before. Despite having a large following on social media, Aditya prefers to keep his personal life private and “under wraps.”
Aditya is thrilled about this phase of his career and wants to connect with audiences through his roles. He hopes to take advantage of his current position in the industry and choose projects that challenge him as an actor.
