The Delhi Assembly witnessed a fiery session on Monday as AAP MLAs strongly criticized Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena. Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj accused Saxena of lacking proper knowledge of the law and the constitution, stating that he should keep a good advisor to avoid making mistakes. Bhardwaj also alleged that Saxena shared a letter without understanding its content, which was then printed in newspapers.

This comes after Saxena had written a note to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday, in which he advised Kejriwal to direct the concerned department to follow proper procedures instead of committing gross irregularity and illegality. Saxena had also called the convening of the session a “grave procedural lapse”.

Meanwhile, a house in Nangloi suffered significant damage on Monday due to an LPG cylinder blast. Firefighters were quick to respond and managed to rescue eight injured occupants who were then transported to the hospital. The blast caused a lot of panic in the surrounding areas, and an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the explosion.

The incident highlights the dangers of mishandling LPG cylinders and the importance of taking proper precautions while handling such equipment. The Delhi government has often issued warnings and guidelines to the public to ensure their safety, but such incidents continue to occur due to negligence or lack of awareness.
