Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that India is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world despite the global challenges posed by the pandemic and recession.

Addressing the National Rozgar Mela via video conferencing, Modi said that India’s policies and strategies have opened doors for new possibilities, resulting in opportunities for employment and self-employment that were previously unimaginable.

He noted that India has adopted a proactive approach since 2014, and as a result, the youth are finding sectors that did not even exist 10 years ago. During the event, Modi distributed around 71,000 appointment letters to newly recruited individuals in various government departments and organizations, such as train managers, station masters, inspectors, teachers, and nurses.

The government is committed to providing the right opportunities for the youth’s talent and energy to achieve the resolutions of a developed India, he added.

The process of government recruitment is taking place at a fast pace in NDA-ruled states from Gujarat to Assam and Uttar Pradesh to Maharashtra, Modi stated.
