After taking some time off due to health issues, Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie have returned to the NBC morning show, “Today.” Kotb was absent due to her daughter’s health issue while Guthrie was absent after a COVID-19 test. Kotb, a co-anchor on the show, returned to “Today” on Monday after being away for a few weeks due to her daughter Haley Joy’s health issue. Last week, Kotb took to social media to share an update on her daughter’s condition.

“We got the news today that Haley Joy is doing better and that she will be ready to come home soon. We are so grateful for all the prayers and well wishes,” she wrote on Instagram. Guthrie, the show’s lead anchor, also returned to “Today” after taking a break from the show to get tested for COVID-19. The test came back negative, and Guthrie thanked her fans for their support. “Thanks for all the well wishes,” she said on Twitter. “I got my test results back and I’m happy to report that the test was negative. I’m feeling great and so thankful for all of your support.”

Kotb and Guthrie’s return to the show was met with much excitement from their fans and co-workers, with many taking to social media to share their joy. “We’re so glad to have you both back,” one user tweeted. Kotb and Guthrie have been co-hosts on “Today” since 2017, and their return marks the end of a difficult few weeks for the show. With both of them back, the show can continue to provide viewers with the news and entertainment they’ve grown to love.
