For an entire week, rescuers have been digging through the rubble of the recent earthquake in Turkey, searching for any sign of survivors. The magnitude 7.0 quake struck the eastern part of the country on January 24, 2021, and the search for survivors continued despite the risk of aftershocks and the danger of further collapse of buildings.

On Tuesday, February 2, 2021, rescuers finally found three survivors in the ruins. The three survivors were pulled from the rubble and immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The rescue team was composed of over 400 personnel, including rescue workers, police, soldiers, and volunteers.

Current estimates indicate that over 80 people have died due to the earthquake, and the death toll is expected to rise as the search for survivors continues. In addition, over 1,000 people have been injured and more than 1,000 buildings have collapsed.

The search for survivors was made more difficult due to the remote location of the affected area, as well as the fact that the earthquake had a shallow depth of only 6.7 miles below the surface. Rescue teams had to carefully navigate the rubble, as well as hazardous and unstable structures, in order to search for survivors.

The survivors who were pulled from the rubble are considered lucky, as the odds of finding survivors after a week of searching are slim. However, rescuers remain hopeful that more survivors will be found in the coming days. The three survivors who were found on Tuesday are now receiving medical attention and are in stable condition.

The government has declared a state of emergency in the affected area and is providing aid to those affected by the earthquake. Additionally, the government has urged people to donate to the relief effort and is coordinating with international aid organizations to ensure that those who need help receive it.

The earthquake has been a devastating event for the region, and the search for survivors continues. The three survivors who were found on Tuesday are a testament to the hard work and bravery of the rescue teams. The search for survivors will continue, and hopefully more survivors will be found in the coming days.
