President Biden’s 2021 State of the Union Address

On April 28th, 2021, President Joe Biden delivered his 2021 State of the Union address to the nation. In his address, President Biden acknowledged the challenges of the past year and spoke of his plans to move the nation forward.

President Biden began his address by acknowledging the hardship of the past year and thanking all those who had worked to keep the nation safe and healthy. He emphasized the importance of unity and mutual support and expressed his appreciation for the sense of hope and resilience that has been displayed in the face of adversity.

President Biden then spoke of the importance of rebuilding the economy and expanding access to healthcare. He proposed the American Families Plan, which would make investments in childcare, education, and healthcare. He also introduced the American Jobs Plan, which would invest in infrastructure and clean energy.

The President also addressed the issue of racial justice, calling for an end to systemic racism and urging Congress to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act. He also called for an end to qualified immunity, which shields law enforcement officers from civil liability.

Finally, President Biden spoke of the need for global cooperation and the importance of the United States’ role in the world. He spoke of the need for a strong alliance to meet the challenges of the 21st century and to ensure a more peaceful and secure future.

In his 2021 State of the Union address, President Biden spoke of his plans to move the nation forward and to ensure a better future for all Americans. He highlighted the importance of addressing the nation’s most pressing issues and of working together to create a brighter tomorrow.
