A shocking news of a six year old student shooting his teacher has been circulating in the internet. It has taken the internet by storm.
In the state of Virginia , The US a six year old boy shot his teacher . “This incident happened at Richneck elementary school in the city shortly after 14:00 local time (19:00 GMT )”, said officer Steve drew. He further added that the shooting was not an accidental shooting . It is uncertain as to how he got that gun.
The name of the teacher has not been disclosed . The teacher is said to be in her 30s and had suffered with life-threatening injuries. The incident happened in the school class room of the first grade . The teacher was taken to the local hospital and is under observation. Mr drew said that no one had any hint that an incident like this would occur and thus the shooting was an isolated.
The police authorities mentioned that also said that the school had various facilities such as metal detection facility. In the school , the students were also checked at random but there was not a one on one inspection .
The police officials have not specified the exact weapon used to attack the teacher but they have mentioned that the child used a handgun to shoot the teacher.
According to the Virginia department of education’s website , the Richneck school has about 550 students studying in kindergarten through fifth grade . In the response to this shocking incident that took place in Virginia , Officer Drew said that they will come back with better precautions .
