In the heart of the Himalayas, amidst the serene beauty of Himachal Pradesh, resides a young powerhouse of talent and determination – Shriya Lohia. At just 15 years old, Shriya has already made waves in the world of motorsports, with her eyes set on conquering new heights as she gears up for Formula4 Championship 2024.

Hailing from a region known for its scenic landscapes and winding roads, Shriya’s love affair with speed began at a tender age. Fuelled by her passion and unyielding determination, she embarked on a journey to pursue her dreams in motorsports, defying stereotypes and blazing a trail for aspiring racers across the nation.

Shriya Lohia, the epitome of excellence in motorsports, continues to dominate the racing circuit with an impressive tally of 19 podium finishes to her name. Her journey, marked by grit and determination, has seen her participate in over 70 races, each one a testament to her unwavering passion for speed and adrenaline.

In a remarkable feat, Lohia was one of the 14 racers selected worldwide for the prestigious Ferrari Driving Academy-supported Girls on Track program in France back in 2022. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity not only underscored her exceptional talent but also provided invaluable exposure to international standards of racing, further honing her skills on the track.

In 2023, Shriya made headlines as she stepped onto the track for the first-ever Indian Formula4 Championship. Despite her young age, she showcased exceptional skill and prowess, leaving spectators and fellow racers in awe of her talent. Her remarkable performance earned her accolades not only from the racing community but also from the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), who honored her with the Outstanding Woman in Motorsports Award an unprecedented four times.

Adding to her illustrious list of achievements, Shriya was bestowed with the prestigious Pradhanmantri Rashtriya Bal Puruskar by none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. The award recognized her outstanding contributions to sports and served as a testament to her dedication and perseverance in the face of adversity.

As Shriya prepares to take on the upcoming Formula4 Championships, she is not without her challenges. Motorsports, often considered a financially demanding sport, requires substantial support and sponsorship to thrive. Recognizing the immense potential and talent that Shriya possesses, there is a rallying call to the businessmen, government of India, and sports enthusiasts to extend their support and provide sponsorship to aid her journey towards excellence.

In a recent interview, Shriya expressed her gratitude for the recognition she has received and her determination to continue pushing the boundaries in motorsports. “I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities that have come my way, but I am just getting started,” she remarked. “With the support of my sponsors, fans, and well-wishers, I am confident that I can achieve my dreams and make India proud on the global racing stage.”

As Shriya Lohia gears up to make her mark in the upcoming Formula4 Championships, all eyes are on this young prodigy from Himachal Pradesh, whose journey serves as an inspiration to us all to pursue our passions relentlessly, no matter the obstacles we may face.
