Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah issued a strong warning on Saturday, stating that strict action would be taken against any organization that disturbs peace and harmony in society. He made the statement after garlanding the statue of former prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru on his 59th death anniversary. Siddaramaiah clarified that the government had not discussed banning the RSS, responding to rumors about proscribing outfits in the state.
Regarding portfolio allocation to the newly appointed ministers following the cabinet expansion, Siddaramaiah stated that it would be completed by today or tomorrow. Earlier in the day, 24 ministers were sworn in, filling all 34 sanctioned ministerial positions.
Siddaramaiah’s warning reflects the government’s commitment to maintaining social order and stability, while dispelling rumors about banning the RSS. The swift appointment of ministers and forthcoming portfolio allocation demonstrate the government’s dedication to efficient governance and the smooth functioning of the administration. With the new cabinet in place, the state is ready to address key issues and implement policies for the development and welfare of its citizens.
